  • 7 ounces dark chocolate melting wafers
  • 5 ounces soft caramels
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream (or whole milk)
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 ounce white chocolate melting wafers
  • Confetti sprinkles
  • Nonpareil sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare the workspace by placing a candy mold onto a baking sheet.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate melting wafers in 30-second increments until smooth.
  3. Spoon melted chocolate into each egg mold, brushing it up the sides evenly. Chill for 10 minutes.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt soft caramels with heavy cream until smooth; mix in chopped pecans.
  5. Fill the egg molds with caramel mixture, leaving space at the top for more chocolate.
  6. Seal each mold with remaining melted dark chocolate and chill for another 20 minutes.
  7. Carefully unmold the eggs and decorate with melted white chocolate and sprinkles.
