  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup neutral oil (or melted butter)
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup chocolate frosting
  • Mini pretzels
  • Googly eyes
  • Red M&Ms for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the gluten-free flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the neutral oil, coconut sugar, maple syrup, and eggs. Mix until well blended.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until fully mixed. Fold in chocolate chips if desired.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Allow cooling on a rack for at least 30 minutes before cutting into triangles.
  6. Decorate each triangle with chocolate frosting, pretzels for antlers, googly eyes, and a red M&M nose.
