  • 1 lb (450g) ground turkey or beef
  • ½ cup finely diced onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey or beef with onion, garlic, sage, thyme, black pepper, salt, and olive oil until well mixed.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet and cut it into rectangles (about 4 inches wide).
  4. Place a generous amount of filling along one edge of each rectangle and roll tightly to enclose the filling completely.
  5. Brush the tops of each roll with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  6. Arrange on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
