- 2 chicken breasts, cut into 1” pieces
- 8 oz cremini mushrooms, sliced
- ½ medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ⅔ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup full-fat sour cream
- 3 tbsp olive oil, divided
- 1 tbsp butter
- Flour, for dredging
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1. Season chicken with garlic powder, salt, and pepper; dredge in flour.
- 2. Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken until golden brown; set aside.
- 3. In the same skillet, melt butter and add mushrooms and onions; sauté until soft.
- 4. Stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic; cook for 1 minute.
- 5. Add chicken broth while scraping up bits from the pan.
- 6. Return chicken to the skillet; heat through for about 2 minutes.
- 7. Lower heat and gently stir in sour cream; adjust seasoning if needed before serving.
