  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into 1” pieces
  • 8 oz cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • ½ medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ⅔ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup full-fat sour cream
  • 3 tbsp olive oil, divided
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Flour, for dredging
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. 1. Season chicken with garlic powder, salt, and pepper; dredge in flour.
  2. 2. Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken until golden brown; set aside.
  3. 3. In the same skillet, melt butter and add mushrooms and onions; sauté until soft.
  4. 4. Stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic; cook for 1 minute.
  5. 5. Add chicken broth while scraping up bits from the pan.
  6. 6. Return chicken to the skillet; heat through for about 2 minutes.
  7. 7. Lower heat and gently stir in sour cream; adjust seasoning if needed before serving.
