  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 teaspoons Italian seasonings
  • â…“ cup flour
  • 4 tablespoons Parmesan cheese (shredded)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 ½ cups chicken broth
  • 10 cloves garlic
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • Salt/Pepper

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasonings. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken until golden brown on both sides (about 6-7 minutes per side). Remove from skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté whole garlic cloves until golden brown. Reserve half for garnish.
  3. Sprinkle flour over the remaining garlic in the skillet, whisk in chicken broth until smooth. Add bouillon cube and soy sauce, followed by onion powder and thyme.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese if desired, simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened slightly. Add reserved garlic cloves before serving.
