  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • ½ teaspoon baking soda

  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ¾ cup assorted chocolate candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare a 9-inch pie plate with non-stick spray.
  2. Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl, then mix in the brown sugar and white sugar until well combined.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract and egg until smooth.

  5. Fold in chocolate chips and half of the candies (reserve some for decoration).
  6. Spread the batter into the prepared pie plate and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown on top; press reserved candies onto hot cake.
