  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 6 green onions (sliced)
  • 1 Tbsp fresh ginger (minced)
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp white miso paste
  • 6 cups vegetable broth or chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 lb frozen vegetable, chicken, or beef dumplings
  • 3 to 4 cups baby bok choy
  • 1 Tbsp chili crisp

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic, white parts of green onions, ginger, and chili crisp; sauté until fragrant (2 minutes).
  3. Stir in soy sauce, broth, and rice vinegar; bring to a boil then reduce to simmer for 4 minutes.
  4. Dissolve miso paste in hot broth using a whisk; return to pot and mix well.
  5. Add frozen dumplings; simmer according to package instructions until cooked.
  6. Stir in bok choy and half of the green onion tops; cook until wilted (1-2 minutes).
  7. Serve hot with toppings like fried onion, chili crisp, and sesame seeds.
