  • 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons non-alcoholic Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup ketchup for glaze
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon non-alcoholic Worcestershire sauce for glaze
  • Salt and pepper to taste for glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a sauté pan over medium heat. Add bell pepper and onion, sauté until soft (3-4 minutes), then let cool.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, beaten egg, breadcrumbs, ketchup, remaining olive oil, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Gently fold in cooled veggies.
  4. Shape the mixture into 4-5 mini loaves (about ½ cup each) and place them on the baking sheet.
  5. For the glaze, whisk together ketchup, chili sauce, maple syrup, Worcestershire sauce; brush over each loaf.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) is reached. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
