  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 1 pound large Florida shrimp, peeled and chopped
  • ½ cup onion, finely chopped
  • ½ cup celery, finely chopped
  • ½ cup red bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • Shredded white cheddar cheese and Parmesan for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pre-made pie crust into a pie pan and pre-bake for about 10 minutes until slightly golden.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté onion, celery, and bell pepper for 3–4 minutes until softened.
  4. Add garlic and Old Bay seasoning; cook for another minute before adding shrimp. Cook until shrimp turn pink.
  5. Sprinkle flour over the mixture, then gradually whisk in heavy cream and milk until thickened. Stir in cheeses until melted.
  6. Pour the shrimp mixture into the prepared crust evenly.
  7. Combine panko breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle on top of the pie.
  8. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
