  • 1 teaspoon ginger (finely chopped)
  • 3 tablespoons gochujang
  • 1 tablespoon gochugaru
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 small onion (sliced thinly)
  • 4 green onions (cut into lengths)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together ginger, gochujang, gochugaru, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, and black pepper until smooth.
  2. Add sliced beef belly to the marinade and coat well. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  3. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated beef in a single layer. Cook for about 5-6 minutes until crispy on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 5-6 minutes.
  4. Add sliced onions and green onions to the skillet; stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until veggies are tender.
  5. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and extra green onions before serving.
