  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup dried apricots or prunes
  • ½ cup toasted almond slivers

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients: slice onion, mince garlic, and measure spices.
  2. In a cast iron skillet or Dutch oven, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and cook until translucent; add garlic until fragrant.
