  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 and 1/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, cream softened butter using an electric mixer until smooth. Add brown sugar and granulated sugar; mix until combined.
  2. Pour in vanilla extract and add eggs; blend until fully incorporated.
  3. Gradually mix in dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt) until dough forms; fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Scoop dough into balls (about 140 grams each) and chill in the fridge for at least three hours or up to two days.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  6. Place chilled dough balls on sheets, leaving space for spreading. Bake for 12–16 minutes until golden around the edges but soft in the center.
  7. Cool on baking sheets for five minutes before serving.
