  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • ½ teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon Greek yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • ½ teaspoon curry powder

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine chicken with salt, garlic powder, sweet paprika, and curry powder. Mix well and add Greek yogurt to marinate.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and onion; sauté until translucent.
  3. Increase heat to medium-high and brown the marinated chicken for about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce, sugar, additional salt, black pepper, heavy cream, cayenne pepper (if using), garam masala, and curry powder. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes until thickened.
  5. Stir in butter until melted and combined. Serve hot with naan bread or steamed rice.
