  • 2 sheets Puff Pastry Sheets, thawed
  • 1 pound Ground Spiced Beef Sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 can (10 ounces) Rotel Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies, well-drained
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground spiced beef sausage until browned and crumbled; drain excess grease.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked sausage, drained Rotel tomatoes, softened cream cheese, and shredded cheddar cheese; mix well.
  4. Cut puff pastry sheets into 3-inch squares and place a spoonful of filling in the center of each square.
  5. Fold the pastry squares into triangles over the filling and seal edges tightly.
  6. Arrange on the prepared baking sheet and brush tops with beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown; cool for 3–4 minutes before serving.
