  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded pepper jack cheese
  • 4 strips cooked turkey bacon, crumbled
  • 2 jalapeños, finely chopped (seeds removed)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup crushed Ritz crackers or panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp chopped chives
  • Jalapeño slices for garnish
  • Extra parsley or chives for garnish
  • Crackers, tortilla chips, or fresh vegetable sticks for serving

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, pepper jack cheese, crumbled turkey bacon, chopped jalapeños, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Scoop out about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball.
  3. In another bowl, mix crushed crackers with additional turkey bacon. Roll each cheese ball in this mixture until fully coated.
  4. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Place the coated cheese balls on the baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Let cool slightly before garnishing with jalapeño slices and fresh herbs. Serve warm.
