- 2 tablespoons loose-leaf vanilla rose tea (or 2 tea bags)
- 1–2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup milk (or milk alternative)
- a pinch ground cardamom (optional)
- dried rose petals for garnish
- fresh mint leaves for garnish
- Boil water in a small saucepan.
- Remove from heat and steep tea for 5-7 minutes.
- In a separate saucepan, heat milk until steaming but not boiling; froth if desired.
- Strain tea leaves (if using) and mix brewed tea with honey/agave syrup and vanilla extract (add cardamom if using).
- Pour tea mixture into a mug and top with steamed milk.
- Garnish with dried rose petals and mint leaves before serving.
