  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1215 Oreo cookies (chopped)
  • 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate (for ganache)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (170°C) and prepare a 9-inch springform pan by wrapping it in aluminum foil and greasing it lightly.
  2. In a bowl, combine crushed Oreo cookies with melted butter to form the crust. Press firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth, then add sugar, cornstarch, sour cream, vanilla extract, and eggs one at a time until combined.
  4. Fold in chopped Oreos and pour the mixture over the crust.
  5. Bake in a water bath for about 50-60 minutes until set, then cool gradually in the oven before refrigerating overnight.
  6. To make ganache, heat whipping cream and pour over finely chopped chocolate; stir until smooth and drizzle over chilled cheesecake.
